US $1.2bn Zhoukou-Zhengzhou, China highway construction begins
Work has begun on constructing a US $ 1.2 billion 144km highway between Zhengzhou and Zhoukou in China. The highway has a designed speed of 120km/hour and a width of 28m.

Work has begun on constructing a US $ 1.2 billion 144km highway between Zhengzhou and Zhoukou in China. The highway has a designed speed of 120km/hour and a width of 28m.
A series of infrastructure upgrades are planned for Nepal that will help improve its economic development. A key infrastructure requirement for Nepal is the development of its road network. In a move to tackle the issue, Nepal’s Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport has initiated the strategy for the development of roads in all 75 districts by 2022.
About US$7.5 billion has been estimated as being required for the completion of this project. Funding will require financing from internal sources
China's Heilongjiang Province plans to develop its transport infrastructure. The authorities in the province have set a budget of US$2.99 billion to develop road links as well as waterways. The plans call for the construction of 364km of new highways, upgrading 450km of existing rural roads and building 6,400km of new rural roads.
