The upcoming Eurasphalt and Eurobitume (E&E) congress being held in Czech capital Prague is of key importance to the road construction sector. This event is being held from the 1st to the 3rd June 2016 and is run every four years, with the first having been held in 1996. The congress is organised by the European bitumen and asphalt industry and has been moved from location to location, running each time in a well-known European city.

The congress is of key importance to industry as it is an important vehicle to raise the awareness across a wide scope of the industry about key drivers in the market environment. It allows industry professionals and academics to share best practices and technology, and also to respond with solutions to future challenges. The organisers say that this is a highly successful platform that allows the bitumen and asphalt industries to work together and respond to key challenges. The sector is able to showcase how key players are contributing with solutions through their extensive network of experts and professionals.

The event will include both conference sessions and an exhibition, as well as poster sessions. A wide array of attendees is expected, with the World Highways team also being amongst those at the event.
