Unitruck says its new range of convex rear mirrors for will help truck owners save huge sums each year on replacements

Owners of trucks across Europe are already said by the UK firm to be saving millions of Euros each year by fitting Unitruck’s existing range of replacement mirrors.

“With the right dealer network, we will be able to bring significant savings to plant owners too,” says Ken Heginbotham, managing director of Unitruck. “Often our mirrors can save drivers hundreds of pounds when compared to the cost of an original part. What is often seen as a distress purchase suddenly becomes not quite as distressing.”

Heginbotham stresses that rear view mirrors prevent thousands of reversing accidents a year, and that replacing them after a prang can cost “way more” than buying and fitting a new mirror.

Sean Tumilty, of Truckmark, a long-time customer of Unitruck says: “20 years ago, all we sold was Original Equipment, these days we rarely sell anything but Unitruck mirrors. In today’s financial climate, fleet owners need to cut costs. When I show them a Unitruck mirror along-side an original, they find it impossible to tell the difference without looking at the name on the back”~

Unitruck says it supplies customers in 20 countries in Europe and America, with its mirrors only available from parts dealers.
