UK equipment show launches

The UK's Construction Equipment Association (CEA) will be organising a new major UK working construction event, PLANTWORX.

The UK's 3418 Construction Equipment Association (CEA) will be organising a new major UK working construction event, 3579 PLANTWORX. The first show will be held at Stoneleigh Park (Warwickshire) on 14th-16th May 2013. At last week's London press launch it was confirmed that the event already has the support of many of the leading equipment manufacturers.  PLANTWORX will be held every two years, alternating with the Hillhead (Buxton) event.  At the core of the show will be a strong focus on machinery demonstration.

    UK exports of construction and earthmoving equipment remained buoyant for the first nine months 2017, showing a 21% increase compared with the same period 2016. Imports of equipment also remained strong, showing a 12% increase in the same period over 2016.     Steady financial performance is claimed for the German equipment producers in 2012, according to the manufacturing association VDMA. The German construction equipment and building material machinery industry generated €12.5 billion in turnover during 2012 according to the latest results.
