UK equipment show launches

The UK's Construction Equipment Association (CEA) will be organising a new major UK working construction event, PLANTWORX.

The UK's 3418 Construction Equipment Association (CEA) will be organising a new major UK working construction event, 3579 PLANTWORX. The first show will be held at Stoneleigh Park (Warwickshire) on 14th-16th May 2013. At last week's London press launch it was confirmed that the event already has the support of many of the leading equipment manufacturers.  PLANTWORX will be held every two years, alternating with the Hillhead (Buxton) event.  At the core of the show will be a strong focus on machinery demonstration.

  • CE reveals UK construction machine sales fluctuation

    UK exports and imports of construction and earthmoving equipment saw fluctuations in demand during 2016 according to the Construction Equipment Association (CEA). The latest CEA report shows that UK exports of construction and earthmoving equipment showed a modest increase in the fourth quarter of 2016. However the sales ended the year at 1.8% lower than 2015 in weight terms (tonnage of machines), and 7.4% lower in value terms.
