UK equipment show launches

The UK's Construction Equipment Association (CEA) will be organising a new major UK working construction event, PLANTWORX.

The UK's 3418 Construction Equipment Association (CEA) will be organising a new major UK working construction event, 3579 PLANTWORX. The first show will be held at Stoneleigh Park (Warwickshire) on 14th-16th May 2013. At last week's London press launch it was confirmed that the event already has the support of many of the leading equipment manufacturers.  PLANTWORX will be held every two years, alternating with the Hillhead (Buxton) event.  At the core of the show will be a strong focus on machinery demonstration.

    According to the Construction Equipment Association (CEA), UK exports of construction and earthmoving equipment remain healthy. The figures show that sales continued on a strong upward trend in the last quarter of 2017, showing growth for the fifth consecutive quarter. Machine exports in Q4 2017 showed an 8% increase on Q3 levels, at £780 million; the highest for over three years.
