UAE's road upgrade project

The UAE Government is planning improvements to the Emirates Road in Sharjah, work which is expected to cost over US$231 million.

The UAE Government is planning improvements to the Emirates Road in Sharjah, work which is expected to cost over US$231 million. The project includes widening the link by building extra lanes, as well as building new slip roads, pedestrian crossings and parallel roads from Ajman to the boundaries of Dubai. The work is being set out by the Sharjah Planning and Survey Department.
