Two key Mexican road projects underway

Work is currently underway on two key road projects in Mexico’s Puebla State, with completion expected either at the end of 2018 or in early 2019. The projects are worth a total of US$136.5 million and are for the Siglo XXI highway and La Galarza-Amatitlanes bypass. Work is currently underway on two key road projects in Mexico’s Puebla State, with completion expected either at the end of 2018 or in early 2019. The projects are worth a total of US$136.5 million and are for the Siglo XXI highway and La Galarza-Amatitlanes bypass. Puebla State has benefited heavily from spending on its road infrastructure due to a substantial budget provided by the Mexican Secretariat of Communications and Transport (SCT). The aim of the road development work in the state has been to boost the capacity for heavy truck transport.
