342 Topcon Europe has introduced a new series of affordable lasers and levels under its new 2LS brand to bridge the gap between do-it-yourself lasers and industrial quality lasers and surveying instruments used on large construction and civil engineering projects.
Four new models are available under the 2LS brand – Orion automatic levels, Gemini series interior lasers, Leo series of line lasers and the Taurus rotating laser system. Topcon says the new models are suitable for house building, concrete forming, dry wall and ceiling installations.
JCB has completed its 17-model, US-built second generation skid steer and compact tracked loader line. The firm has added the 175, 190 and 205 model skid steers and the 190T and 205T CTLs to the range, all of which are vertical-lift-arm models powered by a 44.7kW engine. JCB now has a machine to cover 97% of the global skid steer market, which accounts for more than 70,000 loaders a year.

3D-matic is MOBA’s new levelling system for use with grader and dozer levelling blades. The system has a simple menu structure and works with latest GNSS technology or total station, to deliver exact results corresponding to project data. MOBA 3D-matic is compatible with all MOBA levelling systems, said the company, and it allows an easy upgrade from 2D to 3D.
