342 Topcon Europe has introduced a new series of affordable lasers and levels under its new 2LS brand to bridge the gap between do-it-yourself lasers and industrial quality lasers and surveying instruments used on large construction and civil engineering projects.
Four new models are available under the 2LS brand – Orion automatic levels, Gemini series interior lasers, Leo series of line lasers and the Taurus rotating laser system. Topcon says the new models are suitable for house building, concrete forming, dry wall and ceiling installations.
The new hydrostatic rubber-tyred AP 240 H roller from Ammann is said to set new standards when it comes to ease of use and driveability. Automatic speed control and a gentle start/stop function deliver outstanding results every time. AFW350 and AFT350 are the latest medium-sized asphalt pavers from Ammann and are said to offer good manoeuvrability in confined areas. The hydrostatically driven machines offer a paving width from 1.8-3.5metres and the output potential of up to 230tonnes/hour. A wide range of optional equipment is available to improve paver performance. These include a vibratory screed or a tamping/vibratory screed that can be heated with either gas or electricity, and automatic lighting and temperature control functions.
