1222 Terex Cranes is using Intermat as the launch venue for its new Challenger 3160 all-terrain crane. Terex said the Challenger 3160 is the only fully equipped, three-axle, 55-tonne capacity crane designed for one-man operation.
According to Terex its new Powerlift 1000 crawler crane features a compact design and claimed best-in-class reach and lifting capacity. It is built in Terex’s Jinan factory and is aimed at lifting contractors throughout China, Russia and India. The Powerlift 1000 has a maximum 55tonne lifting capacity and 203.5mt load moment, combined with a 55m main boom and a maximum 61m system length. It can be fitted with 6, 9, 12 or 15m fixed jibs.
An updated D6T bulldozer also will be introduced at Intermat. As one of the more popular machines in its dozer range, the D6T gets a revised engine that meets stage IIIB emissions requirements. It features a hydraulically driven on-demand fan that works in connection with an all-new cooling package and advanced electronic engine controls – together, the integration and control of these key components is able to deliver fuel savings of up to six percent, said the US equipment maker, depending on the applicat
