Tamtron’s new Power wheeled loader scale is said to offer loading accuracy and safety at work in rugged conditions
Finnish company 2426 Tamtron is launching its self-developed and self-manufactured Power wheeled loader scale with ”the first full-colour touch screen in a wheeled loader scale.”

Said to be as easy to use as a smartphone, the Tamtron Power scale offers many key features including three weighing modes in one scale (standard scale for basic weighing, memo weighing for professional users, and stock control weighing); weigh while lowering the boom meaning no more weigh and subtract lifts; zeroing only once an hour not after every load or during loading and a loading speed of over 500tonnes/hour thanks to the fast touch screen, certified weighing downwards and the long time between zeroings.

The scale is legal for trade in the temperature range from -25°C-+40°C; it has an automatic tilt error compensation offering fast and accurate weighing even on uneven loading ground, and online automation means weighing data transfers easily to invoicing and integrates into ERP system with the 300i scale and the WNexus server services.

Worksite safety improvements include options such as automatic rear-view camera integrated in the scale display and immobiliser to prevent unauthorised use of the loader, while optional GPS locationing is said to maximise stock control.

Marc Schürmann managing director of Bell Equipment Europe said, “There are several improvements over the D series. The A frame design from the larger trucks is now being used in the smaller trucks. There is more suspension travel and this gives more comfort and allows higher travel speeds.” He added that the increased travel speed is of particular benefit when the truc
