Having a long tradition of CG rollers, without central articulation, but with steering on drums, 161 Atlas Copco’s Road Construction Equipment division now launches the Dynapac CG2300 asphalt roller.

The roller is 3.95m long and 3m high with an inner turning radius of 3.1m. This means transportation advantages as well as ease of working in restricted areas.
And using 206 Dynapac’s ECO Mode, the CG2300 roller is said to consume 15-20% less diesel fuel compared to the previous range without ECO Mode.

Low emissions are a key feature of the compressed natural gas (CNG) powered crawler excavator on the XGMA stand. Designed for use in areas where exhaust emissions are strictly controlled such as urban construction sites, the 22tonne excavator offers an alternative to conventional equipment running on diesel. Performance is said to be comparable to that of a machine using diesel as fuel but the benefits in reduced emissions will be extremely useful for certain applications.

  • ZF chooses radial motor technology for its hydrostatic transmission
    January 6, 2017
ZF has chosen a pair of radial hydraulic motors for use in its compact single-speed hydrostatic transmission, the 2HC85, which has been developed for compact wheeled loaders up to 100kW and 10.5tonnes operating weight. For high-torque start-up, the transmission sends oil to both motors and demands maximum stroke to travel from 0-16kph, before isolating one motor and then using 100% oil flow through the remaining motor to propel the machine to its maximum travel speed of 42kph. ZF said radial motors afford a
