5872 Sibmost and the Automobile Roads Department of the Krasnoyarsk Region have signed a US$371.07million (RR12billion) contract to construct the first phase of the fourth highway bridge in Krasnoyarsk, Siberia.
China Railway Construction Corporation's subsidiary, China Railway 15th Bureau Group, has won four bids worth more than a combined US$212.02 million (CNY 1.3 billion). One of the contracts is for the construction of main underground tunnel and road for Zhengdong New Area transport hub. Another contract is for a 40.28km highway reconstruction project in Tibet autonomous region. A third contract is for a 6.01km road project in Qinghai. The remaining contract is for a 22.2km section of a highway in Shandong.
Canada’s infrastructure minister, Denis Label, officially broke ground for Montreal’s replacement Champlain Bridge, saying the project will likely cost US$3.42 billion.
The 3.4km Champlain Bridge Corridor Project, including spans and highway expansions, is expected to be completed by 2019.

The Spanish construction firm ACS is tendering for the construction and operation of four bridges in the US. The firm is tendering in partnership with some other US and international firms for some of the projects, which are worth a total of US$11.4 billion.
