Siberian highway rebuild

A budget of close to US$11 billion is being set aside to rebuild the Elantsy-Khuzhir highway in Siberia.

A budget of close to US$11 billion is being set aside to rebuild the Elantsy-Khuzhir highway in Siberia. The section in Olkhon district will be rebuilt first. Other stretches requiring reconstruction include the Irkutsk-Kachug-Zakhal section in the Ekhirit-Bulagat district and Pivovarikha-Novolisikha in the Irkutsk district.

  • Toronto road rebuild project awarded

    Work is starting shortly on rebuilding a stretch of Toronto’s FG Gardiner Expressway. The US$248 million project to upgrade section 1 of the route will be handled by the Aecon Group. Work will start in the third quarter of 2018 and should be finished by the end of 2020.
