Shantui's SR12-5 live at INTERMAT
1171 Shantui’s SR12-5 road roller is the Chinese company’s most exported construction machine model and will be part of its large exhibition at INTERMAT. Said by Shantui to be designed mainly for use in mid-sized compaction duties, it features 2254 Dana hydraulic control systems, and comes with a single front-mounted drum. Weighing in at 12.3tonnes, the machine is powered by a six cylinder diesel rated at 105kW and features a 2.14m wide drum that has a diameter of 1.55m and offers a static front axle load of 7.1tonnes. Two low and high vibration frequencies are offered of 30 and 33Hz and the machine delivers switchable centrifugal forces of 180 or 270kN as well as amplitudes of 1 or 1.8mm respectively. Overall width of the machine is 2.4m and with its high comfort cab, the soil compactor is 3.13m high, while it measures just over 6m long. The company claims the SR12-5 compactor offers high performance, durable construction and reliable operation, as well as being easy to maintain and service.
Case Construction Equipment has expanded its F Series wheeled loader range with the introduction of the 521F and 621F. Using a central cooling pack design and rear-mounted engine layout, Case said these two models bring new levels of performance to the loader market. With bucket capacities of 3.2tonnes and 4.3tonnes

While lift heights remain unchanged from 10-13m, increased lift capacities can now be found across Liebherr’s four-model telehandler range, which now offers 4.1 and 5 tonne lift capabilities. And the range has been rebadged to reflect the new muscle now available. It means models numbers become TL 441-10, TL 441-13, TL 451-10 and TL 451-13. All models use a four-cylinder turbocharged engine rated at 74kW, with a hydrostatic transmission taking care of drive to all four wheels. Three steering modes remain –
