The all-new HJC5410THB-56 concrete pump from Shantui is a 56m reach machine
Heavy investment in research and development at 1171 Shantui has seen the introduction of an array of new machines, including that of its largest ever concrete pump. This launch is part of a steady diversification on the part of Shantui, which is expanding its range from its previous reliance on crawler dozers. The new HJC5410THB-56 pump runs on a four axle truck chassis and weighs 42tonnes, while it measures 13.85m long. With its six section boom it can provide concrete to a height of 56m and can deliver material at a maximum design rate of 170m3/min. A rugged structure is said to maximise stability and durability while it has X-configuration outriggers. At 2.5m wide it can be driven on most highways and is said to offer high mobility, while its 4m height with the boom folded allows it to be driven safely under most conventional road bridges and overpasses. A series of safety systems minimise the risk of accidents while control is said to be easy, with manual and automatic operating modes.
The Liebherr crawler concrete pump THS 110 D-K provides a maximum concrete output of 102 m³/h and is equipped with a six-cylinder engine.
Smooth running and outstanding suction performance are said to be the hallmarks of the THS 110 D-K’s powerful pump unit, while an open hydraulic circuit is said by Liebherr to guarantee reduced system maintenance requirements.
The new Liebherr crawler concrete pump is particularly suited for applications in which pumping of the concrete is constantly being relocated ar
Sany America is offering a new 500 tonne class crawler crane aimed to fill a gap in its range that suits duties in infrastructure projects. The Sany SCC8500 is well-suited for construction of 100m wind towers and placing 2.5MW nacelles. The SCC8500 can make these lifts with a straight boom and an offset wind tip, with no need for a back mast. With a full complement of attachments and options, including fixed jib, luffing jib and the SANY UltraLift package, the SCC8500 can also be used in infrastructure proj

Case is increasing its presence in the earthmoving sector with the launch of a three-model range of upgraded M Series dozers, up from two models in the previous generation. The 1150M, 1650M and 2050M weigh in at 13-20tonnes and all feature Tier 4 Interim/Stage IIIB-compliant FPT diesel engines with selective catalytic reduction (SCR) technology. Case claims that the use of SCR results in lower fuel consumption, up to 10.5% less in the case of these dozers, while the 1150M and 2050M benefit from a 9% power i
