The SL50W-3 wheel loader by 1171 Shantui has been fitted with planetary power shift transmission and a coaxial flow amplification type hydraulic steering system for flexible operation and energy efficiency.

Also kitted out with a Dongfeng 196 Cummins engine, the SL50W-3’s is said to have a highly articulated frame for a better turning radius and greater work flexibility. Its automatic bucket-leveling function is said by Shantui to ease operator handling, and its advanced Z-type reverse tipping mechanism with large breakout force ensures greater efficiency.

Power is provided by a 37kW Isuzu engine. The company offers fork lifts with capacities of 2-3tonnes on single front wheels and 5-10tonnes with twin front wheels. The SF30 is the first model in the line to use a European-specification engine, though additional machines will be added later in the year.
