The new Shantui batching plant offers high quality, consistent mixes according to the firm
The new SLB3000 asphalt batching plant dominating the 1171 Shantui booth is the largest and most productive the firm has ever built. Constructed along modern modular lines, the plant can be set up on-site and commissioned quickly, providing a capacity of up to 240tonnes/hour. The modular layout also allows the plant to be disassembled and transported to a new site quickly, cutting costs for the customer and increasing utilisation. The mixer offers a rated capacity of 30tonnes, while measuring accuracy is said to be very good, allowing the production of consistent and quality mixes to set specifications. Because the plant is modular, it can be equipped with an array of different silo options although the standard system features six hot aggregate silos, each of 60m3 capacity and six cold aggregate silos, each of 15m3 capacity. The German-made vibratory screen can handle a throughput of 260tonnes/hour. Low energy consumption is claimed for this plant due to its efficient design and it has a rated operating power of 580kW. The dust control system is said to minimise emissions and meets the tough Chinese Department of Transportation requirements.
