    Around US$388.39 million (HUF 87bn) will be spent on road repairs in Hungary during 2013, according to State Secretary of the Hungarian Ministry of National Development (NFM) Sara Hegmanne Nemes.     Volvo Construction Equipment president Pat Olney is to leave the global construction equipment manufacturing giant at the end of 2013. The 44-year-old joined Volvo CE in 1996 and has held a number of top management positions in finance, operations and general management, before becoming Volvo CE president in May 2011.     Brazil’s government will soon be launching a call for tenders to turn 1,038kms of roads into dual carriageways, with US$3.57 billion (BRL 7bn) of associated contracts up for grabs. The projects, being made available by the government via its Dnit transport infrastructure department, include some of the main road arteries in the country, such as the BR-381 in Minas Gerais, where some BRL 1bn will be invested.
