The first machine of the new E-series, the new 835 Electro, comes with a user-friendly component arrangement, increased cooling capacity, and numerous undercarriage variants. A powerful 160kW is available from the machine’s standard electric motor.

For heavy applications, such as handling bulk materials, a stronger 200kW motor is available. The 835 Electro motor’s electric propulsion offers low noise emissions, less wear, and extremely quiet operation without having to stop to refuel.

SENCON, the Sennebogen control system, is said to allow intelligent networking of the machine’s individual components and easy handling. Equipment variants from 16m-18m and high loads make the 835 Electro a reliable all-round machine.

    April 19, 2013
ZF used bauma 2013 to show the next stage of development for its cPower continuously variable transmission (CVT). By combining the transmission with a hybrid module, ZF said greater operating efficiencies were available from the integration of start/stop technology and energy recovery from regenerative braking. Potentially, the hybrid drive system has the ability to boost fuel efficiency by up to 25% in addition to the 20% higher operating efficiency already offered by the cPower transmission, said ZF.

    January 6, 2017
Hazemag has developed the HCS material sizer screen with low power requirements, a high throughput rate and simplified maintenance. The sizer uses two counter-rotating scrolls to crush material in a continuous operation. Robust housings and drive motors combine with easily changed wear parts to reduce maintenance downtime. The drive consists of an electric motor, a fluid coupling and gearbox. The fluid coupling provides protection against impacts within the crusher. Suitable for both primary and secondary c

  • JCB’s new soil compactors are faster and more frugal
    January 6, 2017
JCB has introduced two new soil compactors; the VM117D and the VM137D with operating weights of 11tonnes and 12.2tonnes respectively. The single-drum vibratory compactors can be used for a wide range of work in infrastructure and housing projects and have a smooth drum as standard with pad foot drums as an option. They are powered by JCB’s 93kW Stage IIIB/Tier 4 Interim Ecomax engines, which meet the emissions target without using a DPF and are said to deliver fuel savings of 16%. Changes to the compaction
