The 1227 Hexagon Group dealership for 265 Leica Geosystems (LG) products in Europe is at the show promoting LG’s new icon construction project system.
“It’s in four elements,” explained Scanlaser director general Pierre Dubreuil.

“There’s iconstruct positioning tools, GPS, and robotic total stations for foremen and surveyors; icontrol, a machine control system for excavators, graders and dozers; iconnect telematics to transfer construction site machine information to office IT; and iconsult, a consultancy service for construction project managers.”

Dubreuil said construction-related projects connected to the imminent Euro 2012 football tournament had netted Scanlaser new business in co-host countries Poland and Ukraine.

Dubreuil added: “Business in France is also good.”
