Sany's 5260 truck-mounted concrete pump live at INTERMAT
1170 Sany is unveiling its SYG 5260 THB 36 truck-mounted concrete pump with RZ5 placing boom at INTERMAT 2012.

The Chinese company says the SYG 5260 THB 36 is an example of its “many years” of research on and development of concrete pump machines. A truck-mounted pump in the 30m category with five placing boom arms, the RZ5 has a Z-fold on the fifth arm with the end hose, the ‘flyer’.

The approximate 270° kinematics of the flyer allow for maximum flexibility, while maintaining a range with very good slip characteristics. The self-supporting, low-distortion basic frame with X support at the front and a straight support at the rear means it requires less space for use, without compromising on stability. The machine is mounted on a standard four-axle chassis with a total weight of 27.5tonnes. Sany says this creates a compact yet manoeuvrable model with little overhang.

The machine is said to be ideal for use in confined locations and can be set up and re-positioned quickly in narrow, compact spaces. Other work can carry on around it relatively undisturbed due to low sound levels while operating.
