The new cranes feature the Sany Ultra Cab
1170 Sany has introduced three new crawler cranes to the European market, all bearing the CE mark.

Largest of the trio brought to bauma is the 300tonne-capacity SCC 8300. It was joined by its smaller siblings, the SCC 8200 and SCC 8100, with capacities of 200tonnes and 100tonnes respectively.

One of the benefits of the range is ease of transport, with no loads needing to be more than 45tonnes. All three are self-erecting. They are also designed to be simple to operate. Applications include general infrastructure work as well as wind turbines.

The largest two models feature the new 3489 Porsche-designed Sany Ultra Cab, with wide visibility and an ergonomic layout. The cranes also have on-board self-diagnostics.

The US versions were launched at 3485 Conexpo in 2011, and aspects such as the counterweight system, sound levels and engines have now been adapted to meet European requirements.

Once back on the road the driver can, depending on the load being carried, raise the rear axle to increase fuel economy.
