Sandvik delivers increased mobile crushing and scalping capacities
325 Sandvik has unveiled the Premium QI441 PriSec Impactor mobile crusher and the QE341 mobile scalper, both of which have been designed with improved output, easier operation and increased mobility.

The QI441 features Sandvik’s patented PriSec crushing chamber, which is designed for rapid switching between primary and secondary crushing applications. Two hydraulically adjusted curtains permit the production of a wide range of product sizes.

Increased discharge heights and conveyor lengths deliver up to 50% more stockpiling capacity and the machines heavy-duty apron feeder allows the crusher to handle the largest possible in-feed. The machine has a 20% increase in hopper capacity and an aggressive screenbox design to ensure maximum productivity.

Based on a robust crusher chassis, the QE341 mobile scalper has been designed for two-way or three-way split configurations, along with reversible side conveyors for ultimate flexibility. A screen box jack-up facility makes it easier to access the bottom deck for maintenance and for screen changes.

The electrical control system incorporates a colour-coded numerical push button control with a display to allow the operator to monitor production. An auto start/stop feature, pre-start warnings on all plant functions and a three-mode selector are also incorporated with the controls. Radio-control is standard on the QE341.

Both machines are ideal for contractors that need to travel rapidly from site to site, yet are said to be environmentally focussed, energy efficient and highly productive.
