Samoter and Transpotec Logitec to run side by side in Verona in 2017

Logistics exhibition Transpotec Logitec and Samoter - International Earth Moving and Building Machinery Exhibition – will run side by side in Verona in 2017. Transpotec Logitec, a biennial, owned by Fiera Milano, is dedicated to road transport and logistics. Samoter, a triennial, is owned by Veronafiere and a major event for the construction sector. The last edition was held in conjunction with Asphaltica, an event organised in collaboration with Siteb, the Italian Bitumen, Asphalt & Roads Association

Logistics exhibition Transpotec Logitec and 323 Samoter - International Earth Moving and Building Machinery Exhibition – will run side by side in Verona in 2017.

Transpotec Logitec, a biennial, owned by Fiera Milano, is dedicated to road transport and logistics.

Samoter, a triennial, is owned by Veronafiere and a major event for the construction sector. The last edition was held in conjunction with 160 Asphaltica, an event organised in collaboration with 6921 Siteb, the Italian Bitumen, Asphalt & Roads Association.

The two events will retain their respective identities and specific trade character but will share exhibition spaces and entrance gates, as well as coordinate promotional and sales initiatives.

The event will be held 22-25 February 2017 in the Verona Exhibition Centre.

    The Italian construction machinery builders association, UNACEA, reports a resurgence in demand for equipment during 2017. According to UNACEA’s latest report, the first six months of 2017 have seen 5,109 machines sold in the Italian market, an increase of 6% compared to last year. Looking more closely, sales of earthmoving machines grew 6% with 4,910 machines sold, while sales of road equipment increased by 9% with 199 machines sold.
