Safety technology fitted to German trucks is cutting accidents

A survey carried out by BGL, Germany’s association of road cargo transport, logistics and waste disposal, BGL, says that safety technology is cutting accidents. The survey results show that driver assistance systems fitted to trucks can cut the risk of the vehicles being involved in accidents by some 26- 4%.
