A road project in Romania will benefit from funding supplied by the 2465 European Commission. The finance package is worth €127.5 million and is being supplied through the European Fund for Regional Development for an infrastructure project in Romania. The funds will support the rehabilitation of the national road DN6 between Alexandria and Craiova cities. Meanwhile French firm 184 Colas has permits to build 6km of the Cernavoda-Medgidia highway segment. Colas is still waiting for a decision on the remaining 14km of the highway segment. Romania's National Highways and Roads Company (2870 CNADNR) has earlier said it could to cancel the contract with Colas if the company fails to solve any problems by 15 April 2011.
