Guylain Turgeon, managing director EMEA, Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers: “At Ritchie Bros., we’ve welcomed customers from the UK at our auctions since the early days and have seen a steady stream of buyers and sellers coming to us over the last few decades. The UK has always been an important market for us and we’re excited to have established a centrally-located site where several auctions can be held throughout the year.”

On 17 April this year, Ritchie Bros. held its first auction in Donington Park, which attracted 620 online and on-site bidders from close to 50 countries. More than 670 plant equipment items and trucks were sold to the highest bidders during the one-day auction, with close to 60% of the equipment being sold to bidders from outside the UK.

More than 270 items are currently listed for the September grand opening auction with more items to be added in the coming weeks. People interested in selling equipment, trucks or tractors in the auction should contact Ritchie Bros. at +44 132 731 1223.
