Plans have been revealed for a new ring road project in Turkmenistan. The project looks likely to cost over US$223 million. The deal to build the road has been awarded to contractor Vozrozhdenie.
The Black Sea Ring Road project will improve transport connections for the region - Eugene Gerden writes. Russia has officially started implementation of a project, known as the Black Sea Ring Road, which involves building a four-lane highway system connecting the countries surrounding the Black Sea. The Black Sea Ring Road is a substantial project, a highway measuring some 7,140km in all.

Russia’s Federal Antimonopoly Service has cancelled the results of a tender for construction and maintenance of the fifth section of the central ring road in the Moscow.
The FAS made the announcement following an investigation based on a complaint from Stroygazconsulting, one of Russia’s largest infrastructure construction companies.
