A new flyover and express bus routes are among revisions to a new traffic development plan for Hanoi City, Vietnam set to cost US$462.52 million (VND9.66tn). The revised plan has been put forward by The People's Committee of Hanoi City.
Plans are being drawn up in Laos for the new highway connecting its capital Vientiane with Hanoi, the capital of neighbouring Vietnam. The project is expected to cost in excess of US$4.5 billion, with much of the Laos section of the route running parallel to the existing Road N0 13 South.
The completion date has been announced for sections of Vietnam’s key road project. The North-South Expressway project is being built in eight stretches with the work being handled under the PPP model. Vietnam’s transport ministry is aiming for sections of the route to be built by the second quarter of 2020. Funding worth US$5.09 billion has been secured for the project.
