Povolzhupravtodor, a subsidiary of the Russian 2865 Federal Highway Agency, has announced a tender for major repairs of a 25km long section of Russia’s M5 Ural highway in the Samara area of Volga. The contract is estimated to be worth US $ 43.16 million.
Arab partners have been secured as co-investors for construction of the third and fourth phase of Moscow’s Central Ring Road, Russia’s Interfax news agency reported.
Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), made the announcement earlier this month during a meeting of the State Council's presidium in Novosibirsk, chaired by president Vladimir Putin.
Dmitriev did not name the Arab partners but said they “have confirmed their desire” to invest in the third and fourth phases.
A new bridge is to be constructed in Russia that will span the Chusovaya River. The project is expected to cost in excess of US$241 million to carry out. The bridge will measure in excess of 9km-long. The cost of the project will be split between the Russian Federal Government, the Regional Government and the concession firm awarded the deal.
