A project worth US1 billion will improve a 6.5km stretch of the Dukhan Highway in Qatar. The work will be complex and involves the construction of five new interchanges, as well as sufficient storm water provisions and is expected to take 42 months to complete. The work will be carried out by a joint venture comprising the 2800 Saudi Binladin Group and local firm 3438 Qatari Diar.
