Progress on Balkan motorway

The Bosnia and Herzegovina Government says 60% of works have been completed on the Corridor V-c motorway between Drivusa and Kakanj. The €43.20million (US$56.28million) project, agreed in April 2010 between the Government's roads directorate and joint venture firm Viadukt d.d-Hering, will see the motorway created from three sub-roads between Drivusa-Gorica, Gorica-Biljesevo and Biljesevo-Kakanj.

    Construction work is now going ahead on the Suhodol-Tarcin section of Bosnia’s Corridor Vc highway.     Key road construction projects are now moving forward in Bosnia with work on-track for the Sarajevo ringroad as well as the Corridor Vc highway.     The Svilaj Bridge connecting Croatia and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is nearly 40% complete, according to the contractors and the Croatian Motorways Directorate. Locally, the Svilaj Bridge – financially a 50-50 project between the two countries - is part of a motorway running from Beli Manastir to Osijek and on tyo Svilaj.
