High productivity is claimed for Doosan’s latest mid-size loaders
High performance and productivity are claimed for the new generation DL200-3 and DL250-3 wheel loaders from 6902 Doosan Infracore. Powerful engines and a number of new features help reduce fuel consumption while these machines are also said to be easier to service and offer extended durability.

The new cab design provides better visibility and more leg room, while it has a new instrument panel with an integrated VCU (vehicle control unit).

The DL200-3 and DL250-3 are both powered by the Doosan DL06K, a common rail, six cylinder diesel that meets Stage IIIB/Tier 4 Interim emission regulations. This has been achieved through the use of exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) and diesel particulate filter (DPF) after-treatment technologies.

The operator has a choice of three working modes - ECO, NORMAL and POWER. The operator can travel in NORMAL mode and switch to POWER mode when it is needed and can also set a password for machine start.
Load-sensing, variable hydraulic piston pumps, help optimise performance and further reduce fuel consumption.

As an option, customers can choose ZF axles with a hydraulic differential lock. This function is engaged via the operator pedal or in automatic mode, depending on the torque resistance in first and second gear. The hydraulic lock system offers less rolling resistance than the limited slip system.

As well as offering more standard features than other machines of their size on the market, there is a wider choice of options for the DL200-3 and DL250-3 wheel loaders, including electric steering. With bucket capacities of 2 and 2.5m3, respectively, the DL200-3 and DL250-3 wheel loaders are intended to meet a wide range of applications.

Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe) (HCME) says its new ZW250-5 wheeled loader being unveiled at bauma is the result of feedback from European customers. The model’s cab is said to be more spacious than models from the previous range, because the heated air-suspension seat can slide further back, providing more leg room. The tilting telescopic pop-up steering column has also been repositioned to create additional space. An air conditioning system has been installed that regulates the temperature inside
