2991 Powerscreen is unveiling new product improvements in a line-up of three machines: the XA400S pre-screen jaw crusher; the XH320X impact crusher and the Warrior 1400X screen.

“We are excited to be revealing the latest enhancements made to our product portfolio at bauma. This year’s exhibition will be the first showing of the new Warrior 1400X screen anywhere in the world and will provide visitors with an opportunity to look closer at the recently released XA400S pre-screen and XH320X crushers,” says Damian Power, Powerscreen global product line director.

The Powerscreen X400S jaw crusher has been developed to incorporate a fully independent high amplitude, hydraulically driven pre-screen with increased drop angle on the bottom deck improving machine throughput and overall capacity.

In order to facilitate improved pre-screened material flow, the discharge opening from the under chute has been increased from 200mm to 320mm, allowing faster movement of pre-screened material to bypass the crushing chamber.

The Powerscreen XH320X is a mid-sized horizontal impact crusher designed to offer excellent reduction and high consistency of product shape for performance in quarry and recycling applications. It is said to feature rapid set-up time, fuel efficient direct drive system and excellent output potential of up to 320tonnes/hour. It has been developed to incorporate a fully independent hydraulically driven pre-screen, improving fines removal and reducing chamber wear costs for the customer. To coincide with the independent pre-screen feature, a hydraulically folding extended side conveyor and a full length product conveyor have been added to the machine with stockpile heights of 3.7m and 4m respectively.

The 1400X has been designed with economy in mind, with reduced engine running speed and enhanced hydraulics, and offers a reduction in fuel consumption of up to 15% in comparison to its predecessor.
