Engine manufacturer 759 Scania is to supply diesels to the Terex Corporation. The deal will start in 2011 and is timed to coincide with the introduction of new emission requirements for North America and Europe. The transition period for the Terex products will go into effect in time for the phase-in of the Stage IIIB and Tier 4i emissions standards in Europe and North America, respectively. This long-term agreement will see Scania supplying engines for some vehicles and other heavy equipment manufactured and sold by Terex.
