CONEXPO Russia at CTT 2011 has opened with a positive mood and show growth as the Russian economy continues to improve and billions of dollars are allocated for infrastructure and related building projects.

CTT Expo 2011 and the CONEXPO Russia exhibit area run until 4 June at the Crocus International Exhibition Center in Moscow.

The 1100 Association of Equipment Manufacturers (676 AEM) reports that registered exhibitors in its CONEXPO Russia exhibit area at CTT 2011 increased by 46% and its outdoor and indoor exhibit areas had a 30% increase in space.

Overall, the 2011 CTT show has more than 750 exhibitors and more than 100,000 square metres of space, both double-digit increases compared to 2010. CTT 2011 is expecting 20,000 show visitors.

AEM president Dennis Slater participated in and spoke at the opening press event for CTT Expo 2011 along with other show partners and supporters.

"CONEXPO Russia exhibitors realise the enormous value of first-hand contact with buyers and decision-makers in this expanding region and the opportunity to increase or strengthen brand presence," said show director Melissa Magestro.

This is the 12th year for CTT (the Construction Equipment and Technologies Specialised Demonstration Show), which is the largest construction trade show in Russia and Eastern Europe.

AEM joined forces with CTT to establish a CONEXPO Russia exhibit area at CTT 2010.

The CONEXPO Russia partnership with CTT organiser 1106 Media Globe brings another international element to CTT with CONEXPO Russia’s focus on OEM and North American products.
