Portuguese firm wins Mozambique deal

A new road project in Mozambique will see the rebuilding of the link between Namialo and Rio Lúrio, in Nampula province.

A new road project in Mozambique will see the rebuilding of the link between Namialo and Rio Lúrio, in Nampula province. The work will be carried out by a Portuguese contractor, 2753 Monte Adriano. The contract involves rebuilding the main road connecting Namialo with Rio Lúrio and the work has come about through the assistance of the Millenium Challenge Account. The rebuilding project is estimated to be worth close to US$50 million.
