The Hermann Kirchner consortium will build a 20km section of Poland's S8 express road linking Walichnowy and Zloczew. The deal is worth some €164.8 million. The project is expected to take 27 months to complete and the award was made by the Polish road authority, 1361 GDDKiA. Bidding was strong for the project with Hermann Kirchner beating strong offers from other firms including the Chinese 3414 Shanghai Urban Construction Group.
