Poland’s viaTOLL system expanded

The electronic toll system viaTOLL has been expanded in Poland. On 12 January 12 2013, an extra 140km of A1 motorway and S1 and S8 dual carriageways came under the viaTOLL network, according to the directive of the Polish Council of Ministers. A further 160km expansion of viaTOLL is scheduled for 30 March 2013.

The electronic toll system viaTOLL has been expanded in Poland.   • Slovakia’s roads and bridges to be improved

    A new plan from Slovakia’s Ministry for Transport and Construction will see upgrade work being carried out to 180km of major roads and 60 or more bridges. A finance package of €200 million has been secured for the work, which will be carried out over the next 36 months.
