The contract is for the construction and 30 year operation of the 180km Strykow to Pyrzowice toll road. Investment is expected to reach over €1.8 billion and this project is of note as it is the first toll road in Poland to be awarded to firms with Spanish capital. Ferrovial and 930 Cintra are also the favourites for the award of the Strykow-Konotopa road, which is expected to require investment of €1 billion.
