Partners awarded UK road contract

Colas has won a five-year contract in partnership with Halcrow and Costain for Area 12 in the UK. The contract is for €73 million and is for some 1,200km of major roads and motorways in the counties of Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire. The company also has contracts for Area 10 and Area 14 in the north-west and north-east of England as well as Area 7 in the Midlands. In total these four contracts are worth €387 million and give Colas responsibility over 3,500km of major roads and motorways, equating to 32%

184 Colas has won a five-year contract in partnership with 2320 Halcrow and 2319 Costain for Area 12 in the UK.

The contract is for €73 million and is for some 1,200km of major roads and motorways in the counties of Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire. The company also has contracts for Area 10 and Area 14 in the north-west and north-east of England as well as Area 7 in the Midlands. In total these four contracts are worth €387 million and give Colas responsibility over 3,500km of major roads and motorways, equating to 32% of the UK's road network.
