Plans are in hand in Paraguay for a total of 13 major road projects for 2011. The work is expected to cost in excess of US$165 million to complete. Paraguay's Ministry of Public Works has set out the plan and some $150 million will be spent on new roads to access Asuncion from the northern and eastern parts of the city. Another project is for the paving of a 19km section of road between Luque and San Bernardino and this is expected to cost $10.4 million.
