Work is due to start shortly to connect the Avenida Balboa and Avenida de los Poetas roads in Panama. The deal is worth close to US$777 million and includes work on the third phase of the Cinca Costera road.

Work is due to start shortly to connect the Avenida Balboa and Avenida de los Poetas roads in Panama. The deal is worth close to US$777 million and includes work on the third phase of the Cinca Costera road. The contract was awarded by the 1337 Panamanian Ministry Of Public Works to Brazilian construction company 1305 Odebrecht. The new link will form part of a series of road redevelopment and improvement projects in Panama city aimed at improving traffic and the capital's road network. Odebrecht will also carry out road work in Panama's Old Quarter and Historic Centre.
