Pan-European police body TISPOL highlights new strategy

Pan-European police body TISPOL is unveiling its new partnership strategy. President Aidan Reid commented, “Central to our strategic plan is our commitment to partnership working. Pan-European police body 4753 TISPOL is unveiling its new partnership strategy. President Aidan Reid commented, “Central to our strategic plan is our commitment to partnership working. We wish to make the best possible use of our already successful collaborations with the 2465 European Commission, our member states and our partners and stakeholders. These partnerships include other law enforcement organisations, public sector bodies and private enterprise.”

He continued, “This, we believe, ensures strength and shared expertise to deliver against the core purpose of making the European road network safe and secure. It will also help us play the most effective part in supporting achievement of the tough 2020 European road casualty reduction target.”

Four strategic objectives form the centrepiece of the plan: A safer road network for all users; detecting and preventing crime on the road network within Europe; engaging in effective partnership activity; ensuring an efficient organisational and financial plan.
