A Caterpillar 730 ADT recently took to the air at a project in Switzerland and the 23tonne truck was carried to a site with restricted access in the alps, using a specially adapted lifting assembly attached to the cable normally used for a cable car. However whether this big Cat lost one of its nine lives in the process remains to be seen!

The work was carried out shortly after the Terex Superlift 3800 lattice boom crawler crane had been supplied to Trier-based specialist Steil.
