TRACTO-TECHNIK continues to innovate in trenchless technology with its new Black Mole model
2738 Tracto-Technik intends to maintain its position as a leader in the field for trenchless tunnelling technology with the launch of some innovative new designs with its Black Mole and latest Grundomat N design, as well as other key introductions. Its 7th Grundomat N generation features an innovative crowned head form that is said to guarantee a high penetration force and target precision in stony soils. The GRUNDOMAT N is optionally available with the proven stepped head from the previous generation. A further improvement to this machine is the triple gear control stud. This was designed to improving performance in alternating soils and the GRUNDOMAT N has the reverse gear and can be switched between two forward gears with different striking frequencies.

The GRUNDODRILL 18 ACS is a versatile is equipped with twin tube drill rods for rock drilling up to 508mm diameter and 300m bore lengths, or with the Twin-Drive drill rods for regular bores with drilling fluid up to 600mm diameter and 400m bore lengths. The bore length record for rock drilling is currently 270m.

Meanwhile the new GRUNDODRILL 15XPT replaces the earlier GRUNDODRILL 15XP and allows users to pull in pipes up to 450mm diameter. And another novel development from the firm is its GRUNDOPIT K Keyhole technology, which is intended for new installations with a soil displacement hammer, or with a steerable mini-bore rig GRUNDOPIT K and also for the cable pulling device GRUNDOTUGGER. Lastly, the new GRUNDOBURST Type with 1900 kN pulling force has been added, for new pipe installations up to OD 900. This closes the gap between the 1250 G and the 2500 G sizes and has already been successful at several jobsites during its practical test phase.
