Norconsult Norge will design the new E6 road section linking Roterud and Storhove in Norway. The construction work for this stretch has been awarded to AF Gruppen.

The 23km stretch of highway will feature three interchanges. The most complex parts of the project will be to build the new 4.25km twin tube tunnel and a new 500m bridge spanning Gudbrandsdalslågen however.

Construction of the new E6 section past Lillehammer will boost capacity and safety on the route, which passes Lake Mjøsa.
