Bidding is now underway for a road project in Northern Ireland. Several joint venture groups are tendering for the €699 million A5 Western Transport Corridor project, which is being split into three sections.

  • Bidding for Malaysian highway deal

    Bidding is underway in Malaysia for sections of the massive Pan Borneo Highway project. The Malaysian construction firm Gadang Holdings is planning to bid for a number of sections of the project. The company will submit its bid for the highway work in early 2020. The sections of the project it is tendering for have a total estimated value of just over US$223 million although the firm has yet to disclose details of its bid for the work.

    Brazil is planning a series of highway maintenance projects in a bid to tackle it serious backlog of works. Improvement works will be carried out on the BR 158, BR 163 and BR 364 highways, which have been prioritised for their importance to transport and the Brazilian economy.
